ATME-I/Megatex/Techtextil ; May 18-20 in Atlanta, GA. The show/show-traffic was better than expected. The combination of 3 shows in the past into one helped for sure. Also, it was worthwhile because we saw in the three days some existing customers from far away such as West-Coast, Mid-West, Up-North and Canada. We also made a couple of new contacts not only in the traditional knitting/ weaving sector, but for roll handling challenges of any kind. During the show, we had some (5) contacts from South-America, but I personally expected more. We made the point, and a lot of people were not aware of this, that HUBTEX of N.A. not only represents the textile products of Genkinger-HUBTEX, but also the material handling products for warehouse/standard and special solutions. The same can be said for SCHOLZE-Beams and Meiko Meier, most customers/prospects were not aware that are representing these products. Our booth was small 3’ x 3’ (see pictures attached), but as mentioned in the beginning it was worthwhile to be there and represent Genkinger-HUBTEX/HUBTEX, SCHOLZE-Beams and Meiko Meier through HNA.
